LA LUNE PLUNGED CROSS BACK MAXI DRESS
When it comes to holiday dressing, I always lean on timeless style—and nothing’s more classic than a little black dress. It’s effortlessly chic, endlessly versatile, and the perfect choice for any festive occasion. Whether it’s a cozy dinner party, a glamorous night out, or just an excuse to dress up, you can never go wrong with this wardrobe MVP.
If you’re in need of a standout dress for your holiday events, I’ve got you covered with these picks:
1. Reformation Milkmaid-Style Dress
CONTESSA VELVET DRESS | HEELED LEATHER ANKLE BOOTS
How short is too short? When this Reformation dress arrived, I was smitten. The milkmaid-inspired design is beyond adorable, and the corset-like bodice gives it a flirty, vintage vibe. Not to mention, the crinoline adds a playful, full-skirted effect.
Here’s the deal, though: this dress isn’t the most practical. If you’re planning to stay perfectly still, avoid stairs, and, under no circumstances, pick something up off the floor—it’s your perfect match. For those rare moments when you can say, “Anything that happens behind me is none of my business,” this dress will absolutely steal the show. Bonus: it makes your legs look so long!
2. Nadine Merabi Dresses: The Power Pair
When it comes to structured, jaw-dropping dresses, Nadine Merabi delivers every time. I couldn’t decide between these two, so naturally, I tried both.
EM BLACK DRESS | POINTED TOE HEELS | ALINTA TOP HANDLE BAG
Let’s just say, getting into this dress required a little effort (and maybe some help). The structured fabric is so flattering—it hugs in all the right places and gives that chic hourglass silhouette. I paired it with sheer pantyhose for a polished, timeless look. And the straps? Totally removable for versatility.
AUDRINA BLACK DRESS | POINTED TOE HEELS
This one was much easier to zip up (thankfully). Similar in fit to the Em Dress, it has the same sculpted bodice and hip-hugging silhouette but with the addition of elegant long sleeves. This dress practically screams holiday party. Anyone need a plus one for their soirée?
3. Reformation: Sale Picks
Here’s a roundup of some similar styles that I love from Reformation:
MAYVE KNIT DRESS
DEFINA KNIT DRESS
DANA KNIT DRESS
Holiday dressing is all about feeling confident and chic, and these dresses deliver on both fronts. From structured silhouettes to playful hemlines, there’s something for everyone. In my opinion, whether you’re attending a lavish party or hosting your own festive gathering, a classic little black dress will never steer you wrong.

TOP | SKIRT | SHOES
I get asked all the time what I’m wearing, so here it is—my current favorites. These nine essentials blend timeless style and lasting quality, making them perfect for gifting (or keeping). From cozy sweaters to statement dresses, here’s a little inspiration to make this season feel extra good.
1. Cove Cashmere Oversized Crew
SWEATER
This cashmere crew is basically my answer to winter. Soft, roomy, and just the right amount of slouchy, it’s one of those sweaters you’ll never want to take off. I’ve been pairing it with jeans for an easy, relaxed vibe, but it also layers beautifully under a coat when you need to feel extra cozy. And since it’s made from recycled cashmere, it’s as sustainable as it is snuggly.
2. Em Black Dress
DRESS | SHOES (SIMILAR)
Consider this the little black dress that isn’t trying too hard. The velvet fabric and pearl details add just the right amount of glam, but it’s still totally wearable. I styled it with sheer tights and heels for an evening out, and it had that effortless, “oh, I just threw this on” vibe that we all secretly love. Bonus points for the pockets—because who doesn’t love a dress with pockets?
3. Relaxed Crewneck T-Shirt
WHITE TEE | JEANS | SWEATER
You wouldn’t think a white tee could spark joy, but here we are. This one’s made from organic cotton and has that perfect fit—not too tight, not too loose. I wear it with high-waisted denim or layer it under jackets, and it never fails to pull an outfit together. It’s the ultimate low-key essential that makes you feel like you put in way more effort than you did.
4. Jacket with Peter Pan Collar
JACKET | JEANS (SIMILAR) | CREW NECK JUMPER
This cropped jacket has that retro, slightly playful vibe that just works. The Peter Pan collar and cropped cut make it feel a little different, a little elevated. I’ve been styling it with a mini skirt and boots, giving off some understated Jackie O energy. Made with certified leather, it’s a nod to classic style that doesn’t compromise on quality.
5. Audrina Black Dress
DRESS | HEELS (SIMILAR) | BAG
For winter evenings when you want to feel both cozy and a bit dressed up, this black velvet mini is the one. The high neck and pearl details give it a touch of old-school glam without going overboard. I’ve paired it with ankle boots for a more laid-back look, but it’s equally perfect with heels. It’s one of those dresses you’ll keep in rotation because it just works.
6. Fernando Wide Leg Linen Pant
SWEATER | PANTS (SIMILAR) | SHOES
These wide-leg pants have that effortless “I could be on holiday, but I’m just here for brunch” vibe. Made from lightweight linen, they’re a dream with a tucked-in tee or a chunky sweater. Breezy, comfortable, and a bit of an unexpected winter staple—they’re the kind of pants that work for all seasons, which we love.
7. Short Trench Coat Jacket
COAT | SKIRT | BOOTS
This is the trench coat’s cooler, younger cousin. I throw it over jeans, skirts, whatever really, and it always manages to pull things together. The classic trench details meet a more casual, cropped cut, making it a piece you’ll want to keep on hand for those in-between weather days. It’s timeless, versatile, and effortlessly cool.
8. Olive Super Lo-Rise Mini Skirt
SWEATER | SKIRT | SHOES (SIMILAR)
This mini skirt is equal parts fun and nostalgic, with a low-rise fit that brings a bit of ’90s flair. I’ve been styling it with oversized sweaters and boots for that relaxed, balanced look that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Made with sustainable materials, it’s the perfect blend of trendy and timeless—a playful staple that’ll keep things interesting.
So there you have it—my top nine pieces that are keeping my wardrobe festive without going full-on holiday. WHITE TEE | JEANS | PULLOVER
Layering is an art form. You want to feel snug and stylish without looking like you’re prepping for an arctic expedition. London’s moodiness this time of year demands layers that are versatile, cozy, and polished.
Enter: my current Varley favorites that I’ve developed an emotional attachment to.
There is quite literally not a day that goes by that I am not wrapped in something from Varley. I’m currently sat in the Slim Cuff Pant, that I now have two pairs of because they changed my life. However as they’re my comfort clothes they’re mostly worn when I’m working from home, lounging or running errands – three activities that consume most of my life and yet I somehow have very few photos in them. But we’re working with what we’ve got!
The Wilkins Sherpa Puffer Jacket:
This is one of my favourite “I’m going to pilates” looks when I am not going to pilates. As you can see I’m really leaning into the brown tones and Varley has a strong offering on this front.
The Blossom Mock Neck Cashmere Sweater:
BOOTS (SIMILAR) | WAX JACKET | SWEATER
If you squint you can just see the Blossom Mock Neck Sweater that I had layered under my Barbour here. This knit has an English country side/Scottish fishing village vibe that I love. It makes me want to own sheep. Its also a perfect layering piece, sleek enough to fit under any kind of jacket or coat.
The Mentone Half-Zip Knit Pullover:
JEANS | PULLOVER | HEELS
Half zips have taken over the internet and this one is my favourite one. I’ve had it for over a year, worn it consistently and it still looks like the day it was born. It also comes in multiple colours – I’m feeling like I need it in cream.
Skyla Funnel Neck Knit Pullover:
COAT | PANTS | PULLOVER
The neck line on this sweater elevates every look you pair it with. I’m rather dressed up in this shot (taken from one of my styling Reels) but I often wear this with my track pants and feel dressed up.
The Mondain Cable Knit Sweater:
You need a cable knit sweater. Thats written down somewhere. This one is perfectly weighty and the green colour is immaculate.
LEATHER JACKET | SCARF | BOOTS
So, If you’re in the market for some timeless layers that’ll carry you from now through winter, these are the pieces you’ll want on standby.
You can find them all linked over on my LTK, and if you want more layering ideas (I’m bringing out my coat collection), follow along on Instagram for a dose.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say again, Levi’s only get better with age, which is saying something as they’re a great jean to start. The more you wear them, the more they look like they were made for you. I recently did a little Levi’s try-on haul over on Instagram and wanted to expand on it here. So let’s get into it.
For reference, I’m 172cm and usually in a 25/26 waist. Sometimes I pop up to a 27 for a super relaxed look. I’m also partial to a stiff denim, which I know is controversial to some, but I just think it looks cooler.
1. 501 Original
501 Original
Out of the gates, these ones are my oldest pair and my tightest as sometimes you need a little extra shape on the bee-hind. Of course you’re sacrificing a bit of comfort here but they’re the perfect example of a jean molding to you over time as they fit like a glove. They’re a 25×32 and the wash is the original blue.
2. 501 Original (Luxor Last)
501 Original (Luxor Last)
Same style as above (sorry I couldn’t dig out a better photo in them) but this time I sized up for a looser fit. These ones are a 26×30 so they’re also more cropped.
3. 501 90s (Light Indigo Wash)
501 90s (LIGHT INDIGO WASH)
I have multiple pairs of the 501 90’s – its currently my favourite style. The light indigo wash is a softer denim so I’m in a 25 waist here – though I would say they fit more like a 26. This is the 32 length.
Links to this full look are here!
4. 501 90s (Stitch School Black)
501 90s STITCH SCHOOL BLACK
In contrast to the above the Stitch School Black denim is extra stiff, so I’m in a 25 here as well but they have a much more snug fit to them. Length here is 30 for a cropped look.
5. 501 90’s (Rinsed Blacktop – Black)
501 90s (Black)
This is my most recent pair of the 90’s and the colourway I’ve been waiting for! I’m in a 25 x 30 here. I’d say they’re very true to size and fit as you would expect.
6. 501 90s (Drew Me In)
501 90s (Drew Me In)
These are the most comfortable pair of jeans I own as I sized up to a 27 for an extra relaxed look. I actually wear these at home sometimes instead of discarding them as soon as I’m in the door like I do with every other pant I own. I went for the 32 in length here.
7. 501 Original Men’s (Stitch It Out Blue)
501 Original (Stitch It Out Blue)
I love a men’s jean as it looks like you could not have tried less but the style is inherently cool. They’re of course a completely different fit, lacking space for the old hips, so I’m in a men’s 31 x 32. These are a Saturday staple for me, paired with a chunky knit and comfy sneaker.
So there you have it, my Levi’s jean collection ( and counting). If you are after a vintage-inspired fit, a relaxed weekend look, or that classic, timeless pair of jeans you’ll reach for year after year, Levi’s has you covered.
And as always, if you’ve got any questions or need help choosing the right fit, feel free to ask me. I’ve tried them all, after all!
