When it comes to boots, Fall is their time to shine, and for me, it’s all about the classics. Below-the-knee leather boots are timeless, versatile, and just make everything feel a little more pulled together. If you’ve been for a while, you know I’m all about pieces that make getting dressed feel effortless, and these boots do exactly that.

This season, I’ve found 8 pairs that are high-quality, polished, and ready to be worn on repeat.

1. Maeve Leather Boots

The Maeve Leather Boots have a narrow calf for a slender fit, similar to the boots photographed above. I love the chunky sole on these ones though, for an edgier look.

2. HCODA Boots (pictured above)

These are my favourite boots I’ve owned to date. They strike the perfect balance between classic and edgy, and in my opinion they add structure and a “coolness” to any look. They’re also the most comfortable. No notes.

3. Bridget Low Boots

I have these boots in black leather but I am saving my pennies for this suede version. The looser fit gives a relaxed “cool girl” look and the slightly western details are a nod to this seasons trend without the risk of dating quickly.

4. Luna Leather Black Boots

These are a great everyday boot that you can easily wear over jeans or with a skirt. I like how they have a rain-boot vibe – especially when paired with a trench coat. Very classic London.

5. Nancy Knee Boots

These guys are the most sophistication boot I’ve found this season. and the most polished boot in this list. The rich leather finish screams elegance and gives “old money”.

6. Frances Knee High Boots

This boot is a solid mix of the biker boot trend paired back with a western twist. I love it, I think its a super cool look and this brown colour won’t date.

7. Leather Ankle Boots

The classic Leather Ankle Boot. While I am clearly partial to a knee high I strongly believe every closet needs a quality pair of ankle boots to pair with jeans (as pictured above) or a cropped trouser. You will keep a pair like this forever.

8. Croc-Effect Leather Knee High Boots

These are just for fun. And we all need a fun pair of boots for nights out and for when we’re feeling ‘extra’. I’ve had a similar pair of croc knee highs for years now and they’re still the first boot I reach for when I’m cocktail bound.
