If I’m being honest, I’ve never really been a morning person… and if my Mum’s reading this she will undoubtably be rolling her eyes at what an understatement that is. But as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to understand how important mornings are to the rest of your day – not to say that my snooze button doesn’t still take beating – but some things are truly worth the sacrificed sleep, and a morning swim at North Narrabeen Rock Pool is one of them.
I’ve been living on The Beaches for nearly five years now, and while I’ve always consider myself more of a city person, you cannot argue the pristine perfection these beaches offer as the early morning sun rises over the South Pacific. Teamed with a coffee from one of the nearby cafes (Zubi on Ocean Street if we’re making suggestions) it’s a breath of fresh air before hitting the daily grind.
