Autumn is hands down my favourite time of year for street style and clothing in general. The layering, the ankle boots and sneakers, my uncontrolled obsession with outerwear – it’s everything I love wrapped into one idyllic season of falling leaves and spiced lattes.

The best part is, it’s super easy to style.

So my Autumn cheat sheet or, let’s call it the equation that I live by, goes as follows:

Basic jeans + Long sleeve knit + Trench = Good to go.

My notes:

Jeans are easy, just grab your favourites.

Knitwear – I am a fan of the chunky knit but for layering purposes I always stick to thinner pieces like these super soft Uniqlo cashmeres and I stock up on multiple colours.

Outerwear – How many options you have and in what styles is totally up to you but I’m a slave to the trench. I love how it finishes off an outfit – polished but effortless – exactly what I aim for with my street style.

I would advise t0 stick to one colour pallet to avoiding clashing and allow for easy rotation.

Once you’ve equipped yourself with the above it’s just a matter of mixing and matching.
